President and principal consultant Laura Duran founded LD&A in 2003 after serving with public relations teams on both the corporate and agency side – as a communications leader and corporate spokesperson for GPU Nuclear and as an account manager for Godfrey, a top-ranked business-to-business marketing agency.
A graduate of Elizabethtown College and Penn State University, Duran is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, Congress for the New Urbanism, National Trust for Historic Preservation, National Charrette Institute, Smart Growth Network, and Sustainable Cities Collective. She serves on the governing board of the Lancaster-based Essence of Humanity Award Program.
